Part I - Methodology and Processes
This includes thermal considerations and metallurgical and chemical requirements of solder paste. Wavesolder and reflow technologies including convection, convection/IR, area conductive and condensation inert (Vapor Phase) are also examined.
Part II - Equipment Selection
This part of the course presents a matrix with a review of selection parameters is presented.
Part III - Evaluating Equipment
In this segment, the course teaches 10 tests the attendee can use when evaluating a new reflow oven.
